The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released a revised schedule for Round 1 of NEET PG Counselling 2025, which candidates can access on the official portal mcc.nic.in. Along with the updated timeline, MCC has also added 239 new postgraduate seats from Deemed Universities recently approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
Round 1: Key Dates
- Choice Filling Window: November 20 – November 21 (closes at 12 noon)
- Seat Processing: November 21, 2 PM
- Round 1 Seat Allotment Result: November 22, 2025
- Reporting to Allotted Institutes: November 23 – December 1, 2025
Candidates who are allotted seats must report to their respective institutes within the given dates.

Seat Matrix Updates for Round 1
- New Seats Added: 239 postgraduate seats in Deemed Universities approved by NMC
- Seats Removed: 235 DNB seats (186 in government institutes and 49 in private institutions) as per communication from the National Board of Examinations (NBE)
These changes have led to a restructured seat matrix, particularly affecting government colleges offering DNB programs.
