Drive safe, people! That’s the message everyone got. But there was something else. It’s not the age, it’s the mileage!

Forget the number of candles on your birthday cake and jump off a cliff or an airplane, go skinny dipping in ice cold pools. Or do whatever you fancy. Just like these guys did.

Gladys Burrill ran a marathon at the age of 92

US-based Gladys “Gladyator” Burrill finished the Honolulu marathon on December 12, 2011 in 9 hours, 53 minutes, 16 seconds to become the oldest living woman in the world to complete a 42-km race.

She also earned a place in the Guinness Book of World Records as the oldest female to complete a marathon. It was her fifth Honolulu finish in seven years.
