“HanuMan” Continues Strong Global Box Office Run, Grosses ₹218.42 Crore on Day 11

Teja Sajja’s superhero film, “HanuMan,” is making waves at the box office as it enters its second week, amassing a worldwide gross of ₹218.42 crore, according to film trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan. Despite releasing alongside Mahesh Babu’s big-budget Telugu film “Guntur Kaaram,” “HanuMan” has managed to captivate audiences, riding on positive word of mouth.

Providing a breakdown of the film’s global performance, Vijayabalan shared the collection details on Tuesday, stating, “Hanuman worldwide box office: Hanuman holds strong on 2nd Monday. Marching towards ₹225 cr (crore).” The film’s daily box office figures are as follows:

  • Day 1: ₹21.35 cr
  • Day 2: ₹29.72 cr (Including Additional Premieres)
  • Day 3: ₹24.16 cr
  • Day 4: ₹25.63 cr
  • Day 5: ₹19.57 cr
  • Day 6: ₹15.40 cr
  • Day 7: ₹14.75 cr
  • Day 8: ₹14.20 cr
  • Day 9: ₹20.37 cr
  • Day 10: ₹23.91 cr
  • Day 11: ₹9.36 cr

The superhero film, directed by Prashanth Varma and produced by Primeshow Entertainment, features a stellar cast including Amritha Aiyer, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Vinay Rai, and Raj Deepak Shetty in significant roles. “HanuMan” has also made an impressive ₹138.9 crore in India alone, according to Sacnilk.com.

In a unique gesture, Mythri Movie Makers, one of the film’s distributors, announced a donation of over ₹2.6 crore to the Ram temple. The film’s team pledged ₹5 from each ticket sold, amounting to approximately ₹2.66 crore from the sale of over 53 lakh tickets. The generous contribution underscores the success and social impact of “HanuMan.”

Director Prasanth Varma commemorated the occasion of Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha by announcing his next project, “Jai Hanuman.” Sharing a first-look poster and a picture holding the bound script, Varma expressed gratitude for the love received and declared the commencement of pre-production for “Jai Hanuman.”

Adding to the accolades, Telangana BJP President and Union Minister G Kishan Reddy recently felicitated “HanuMan” actor Teja Sajja at his residence in New Delhi. The film’s success continues to resonate not only in box office numbers but also in its significant contribution to societal causes.
