Friday – Nationwide Forecast

The Western Disturbance as a cyclonic circulation is located over Pakistan on Friday morning and moves eastward. It will bring heavy rain or snow and thunderstorms over Jammu & Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh, and scattered rain and thunderstorms over west Rajasthan and adjoining areas on Friday. 48-hours total snow accumulation of 10cm to 60cm is possible over Jammu & Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh.

Northeast Monsoon is set to affect Southern India. Scattered rain and thunderstorms are likely over Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Andaman & Nicobar Islands on Friday. Scattered rain and thunderstorms are likely over Kerala and Andaman & Nicobar Islands on Saturday.

Heavy rain/snow and thunderstorms have been forecast over Jammu & Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh.

Scattered rain and thunderstorms are expected over west Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

Isolated rain is possible over Uttarakhand, Haryana, Delhi, Punjab, east Rajasthan, west Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.

Dry weather is likely over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sikkim, West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, east Gujarat, Maharashtra, Goa, Chhattisgarh and Telangana.

Saturday and Beyond

The Western Disturbance over Pakistan is expected to bring scattered rain or snow over Jammu & Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh on Saturday, and then gradually weaken. Next Western Disturbance is forecast to affect over Northern from Wednesday.

No weather warning is issued across India from Saturday to Monday.
